Anyone can
edit the wiki. Anyone can contribute, change, and add. Most websites you go to are static — you only read them. This is a very different place.
What we are aiming for is a place to record anything that would encourage hurting Christians who have been the victims of spiritual abuse and help show them the way to full recovery from spiritual abuse. This is an experiment in community and a project that can be fruitful for years to come.
Everyone these days has their own personal blog. They write down everyday activities, things they do, places they go. But how about channeling some of that effort into helping other Christian's who've been the subject of spiritual abuse? A place for sharing, listening, learning, growing and exploring.
Begin by telling about your journey with the Lord. Share how you got involved in the abusive church/group. Share the events that lead up to your leaving and how the healing began. Where you are today. This is your chance to demonstrate that, in the spirit of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 God, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." Then share about some of the resources you've found helpful. Tell about the support group you're a part of or are thinking about starting. Write a review of resources that have blessed you. The topics and room for exploration is endless.
What the wiki contains and means is up to you. As a general rule you should contribute content you think will be helpful or insightful to others, but even this rule can be broken at times. Never be afraid to try something new, to edit something, to make your voice heard.
This is our place, our resource, our voice.
