Introduction |
The primary purpose of this wiki is to allow those of us who have experienced spiritual abuse and have begun the healing process to share how we have, by God's grace, moved on and continued with our lives. It will include some basic guidelines for understanding spiritual abuse as well as opportunities to share experiences. It will then describe resources/strategies that we have used to begin the healing process.
Understanding Spiritual Abuse |
"Spiritual abuse occurs when someone in a position of spiritual authority, the purpose of which is to 'come underneath' and serve, build, equip and make God's people MORE free, misuses that authority placing themselves over God's people to control, coerce or manipulate them for seemingly Godly purposes which are really their own."
